Meet Lovey Doves! <br/>She is a 4-year-old Yorkie mix that was rescued from a high kill shelter in the Bay Area. She was dumped in front of the shelter with two other mom dogs and 15 puppies! We had no idea which puppies went with who, but we were able to rescue Lovey Doves and one of the other moms, and 5 of the puppies? <br/>Everyone has found a home and now it's Lovey Doves turn! She can be a little shy when she first meets people, but she's so sweet and special and loves to have love when she trusts you. She is a small girl weighing in at around 9 or 10 lb. She's soft and lovely! She is a perfect size and would make anyone a perfect companion! If she gets along well with other dogs but wouldn't mind being the only dog. She probably would even get along with cats, although we do not have cats to test her with. <br/><br/>Lovey Doves wants to find a loving home that will teach her all the good things in life. We have no idea what happened to her before she was dumped but she definitely has to learn the ropes and will need help learning to walk on leash better and to learn what the world is like. We know that she did not get much attention or love because she did not even know what a hug or kiss was when she first got here. She is so loving and sweet now and would be a perfect companion in a quiet home. We do not think that she would enjoy living with young kids so it will be 13+ for this girl. She is gorgeous, but did not really want to model for the pictures.<br/>The fastest way to her heart is through meaty treats and sharing your food with her. She really enjoys eating popcorn and whatever else her foster brother has in the house, that she is allowed to eat. We do give her chicken strips mixed in with her food from time to time and she just loves it and really appreciates it! <br/>If you think that you can give Lovey Doves the life that she deserves, please apply for her.
