Louisa's Story

Courtesy Post: Meet Louisa (Lady Lou)

Louisa-affectionately known as Lady Lou-is a young, beautiful black Lab mix with a heart as big as her personality. At just over a year old, she's still very much a playful puppy at heart, learning how wonderful life can be after a rough start.

This sweet girl came from a situation where she spent most of her early life kenneled and underweight due to circumstances beyond her control. Since then, she's been given love, stability, and a chance to finally just be a dog-and she is soaking it all in.

Louisa is:

* Female, approx. 1 year old
* Spayed & up to date on vaccines
* Housebroken
* Good with dogs (small & large), cats, and children
* About 25-50 lbs of happy energy
* Eats Purina One

She is described as very sweet and social, with a joyful, energetic personality. Louisa would thrive in a home that enjoys an active, affectionate companion and is ready to continue guiding her as she grows into her best self.

She is being rehomed through no fault of her own-her current situation simply isn't the right fit for her energy level.

Tired Dog Rescue's Adoption Policy
Tired Dog Rescue adoption fee includes all sets of vaccinations, heartworm test, fecal exam, spay/neuter and microchip. We also recommend that you research the breed that you want to adopt. Ask yourself....Can you afford the cost of a high maintenance dog such as a Cocker Spaniel or Shih-tzu etc? The grooming costs are about 50.00 every 6-8 weeks. Are you in a position to adopt a puppy which will require training? Can you afford the medical costs that might be involved in adopting a senior pup? We want every adoption to be for life so please think about what you can and what you are willing to do before considering each pet. If you are unsure please contact us and we can help answer any questions.
