Louisa's Story
Courtesy Post: Meet Louisa (Lady Lou)

Louisa-affectionately known as Lady Lou-is a young, beautiful black Lab mix with a heart as big as her personality. At just over a year old, she's still very much a playful puppy at heart, learning how wonderful life can be after a rough start.

This sweet girl came from a situation where she spent most of her early life kenneled and underweight due to circumstances beyond her control. Since then, she's been given love, stability, and a chance to finally just be a dog-and she is soaking it all in.

Louisa is:

* Female, approx. 1 year old
* Spayed & up to date on vaccines
* Housebroken
* Good with dogs (small & large), cats, and children
* About 25-50 lbs of happy energy
* Eats Purina One

She is described as very sweet and social, with a joyful, energetic personality. Like many young dogs who are finally out of confinement, she can be playful and may get into toys or try redecorating a doormat now and then-but she's not destructive in a serious way, just a typical young dog learning boundaries.

Louisa would thrive in a home that enjoys an active, affectionate companion and is ready to continue guiding her as she grows into her best self.

She is being rehomed through no fault of her own-her current situation simply isn't the right fit for her energy level.

If you're looking for a loving, happy, goofy young dog to join your family, Lady Lou might be your girl.

Apply through Tired Dog Rescue
