Meet Louis — a sweet and lively 1.5-year-old male Japanese Spitz (Silver Fox–type) looking for his forever family.<br/>He’s a small dog, only 9 lb, neutered, microchipped, and vaccinations are up to date.<br/>Louis is currently in Burnaby BC.<br/><br/>About Louis:<br/> • House-trained – he only goes potty outdoors and does best with 3 walks a day<br/> • Quiet dog – not a big barker<br/> • Gets along very well with other dogs<br/> • Can live with cats – he may chase out of curiosity but does not bite<br/> • Friendly with strangers<br/> • Crate trained<br/> • Loves toys, especially balls<br/> • Affectionate and enjoys human companionship<br/> • Food-motivated and not picky at all<br/><br/>Things to know:<br/> • He can be a little protective of food, so supervision and basic training are important<br/> • When upset, he may grab pant legs and vocalize, but a quick hug and reassurance usually calm him down<br/> • He is very curious and loves to get into the trash, shred paper, and chew on pens<br/> • Small plastic items must be kept out of reach — if he finds something, he may grab it and run, and we want to avoid any risk of swallowing<br/><br/>Louis would do best in a home that understands small dogs, keeps the environment tidy, and is willing to provide structure, supervision, and lots of love <br/><br/>To apply:<br/>https://forms.gle/CgUdNA7VcuTFKfq66<br/><br/>If you have any questions, please email us at lprescueteam@gmail.com<br/><br/>Our adoption process:<br/>1.
