Finding Forever Dog and Cat Rescue's Adoption Policy
Interested adopters would first request a pre-adoption application that is sent to them via email or they can receive a physical copy from any volunteer. Once they are approved we set up a meet and great with the potential adopters, the dog/cat they are interested in and any other animal they already currently own. Once meet and great is complete (if it goes well), the potential adopters will foster to adopt for one week. Once the week is complete we will check in with them. If they decide they would like to keep the animal we complete the adoption by transferring vet records to their name and providing them with a medical copy. We do make sure to tell all potential adopters that make it to the foster to adopt scenario that if at any time they believe the animal is not a good fit for their family we will immediately come get the animal and place them back in their foster home.
