Louie's Story
Louie is a handsome, fun-loving 1.5 year-old 60lb German Shepherd/Terrier mix with a big heart and a very good-boy personality. His mom was a German Shepherd, and while his dad is unknown, Louie seems to have inherited a wonderful mix of smarts, charm, and playful energy.

Louie is potty trained, crate trained, and already has a great foundation for family life. He’s a cool, happy dog who enjoys being part of the action and loves having people to connect with. He has that loyal German Shepherd sweetness mixed with a fun terrier spark, making him both affectionate and entertaining.

Louie is currently with New Start Dog Rescue and is looking for a home that will appreciate his good nature, keep giving him structure, and love him for the awesome dog he is. He’s ready for his next chapter with a family who will see what a special boy he truly is.

Louie is available to adopt in the Chicagoland area and is being fostered in a home. Appointments to visit him will be set up for approved adopters only. Adoption fee is $350.00 which includes all age appropriate vaccines, and he is already neutered and microchipped.
