What is Poi Dogs and Popoki’s adoption process?

Potential adopters must fill out the online application for pre-approval. Once the application is received, one of our care coordinators will call the potential adopter, review the application, and answer any questions the adopter may have. Adopters will be notified on the status of their application after the care coordinator and review team reach a decision. Note: Those living in rented properties must provide proof that animals are approved to be in the residence. Poi Dogs & Popoki is an all-volunteer ran organization. Adoption sites are not constantly manned Monday-Friday, it is best to make an appoint if interested in visiting during these days. Volunteers will be present at all locations Saturday-Sunday from 10am-6pm.
