Louie (aka “Cannoli”) <br/><br/>Meet Louie, a gentle, loving senior Poodle mix with beautiful blond fur and the kindest eyes! His foster family calls him Cannoli because he looks just like one. He’s about fourteen years old and weighs around 28 pounds, and he’s all love.<br/><br/>Louie can’t see much, but he doesn’t let that slow him down. He’s a smart boy who gets around with his nose and remembers his way around the house. He may also be a little hard of hearing, so gentle touches and a calm, predictable routine help him feel at home. He’s great with other dogs and kids, and he loves everyone he meets. He’ll let you know when he needs to go outside.<br/><br/>Louie is a low-energy guy who enjoys short, easy outings. He has a bit of a limp and can’t walk very far, so he does best in a home without many stairs, or with someone happy to carry him outside. He gets one eye drop in each eye daily, and he sits patiently for it.<br/><br/>His favorite things are belly rubs, treats, rolling around in blankets and rugs, and resting his head on your lap for a long cuddle.
