Loui ADOPTED TX's Story
Meet Louise!<br/><br><br/>Louise is a female salt and pepper Schnauzer with a long tail. Her vet guess birthday is 4/6/2009 and she weighs 17.00 pounds. Louise visited the vet clinic to receive her heartworm and fecal testing. Heartworm tested positive and fecal tested positive for hook worms. Worming medicine given. Louise visited the vet clinic 5/27/2011 to receive her heartworm treatment. She visited the vet clinic 7/12/2011 to receive her spay, shots with rabies and micro chipped. Louise is receiving Interceptor for heartworm prevention and having Frontline placed on her for flea control. She is ready for adoption. The 3rd picture was taken the day of rescue.<br/><<br><br/>Louise was rescued in the Spring 2011 with Thelma, a white Schnauzer, in Bowie County Texas. A phone call was placed to help them. They were found running next to a road. Both had tumbleweed hair do's, fleas and no collars. Louise was 99% feral and caught with a catch pole. Thelma has been adopted. <br/><br><br/>Louise has come along way. She was scared of everything except food. Time spent in rescue turned her into a loving girl, still somewhat timid but looking for attention and love. Louise learned to walk on a leash but will freeze if she is scared. She will reach up to be picked but a little timid and shaking. Louise likes other K 9's but really devotes her attention to her human friend. A home life with humans with or without children over 10 years of age would be best. Visiting children at any age would be fine in the adopters home. Louise just needs special attention to make her feel comfortable. <br/><br><br/>Louise's adoption fee is $225.<br/><br/><br/><hr><br/><center><h1>To Apply for Adoption!</h1><br/><a href="http://fs19.formsite.com/JeffTarpleyRescue/application/index.html">Click here to complete an adoption application</a><br/><br/><br/><hr><br/><br/></SPAN></DIV></DIV></H2> <CENTER> <CENTER> <CENTER> <CENTER> <H3> <CENTER> <H1><SPAN style='FONT-FAMILY: ; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #ffffff' mce_style='background-color: #ffffff;'><SPAN style='FONT-FAMILY: arial black, avant garde' mce_style='font-family: arial black, avant garde;'>Welcome to Jeff Tarpley Rescue (JTR)! </SPAN></SPAN></H1></CENTER> <CENTER> <H1> <CENTER> <H1><A onclick='pageTracker._trackPageview('outbound/petnoteslinks');' href='http://search.petfinder.com/petnote/displaypet.cgi?petid=13429175' target=_blank mce_href='http://search.petfinder.com/petnote/displaypet.cgi?petid=13429175'><SPAN style='FONT-FAMILY: ; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #ffffff' mce_style='background-color: #ffffff;'><SPAN style='FONT-FAMILY: arial black, avant garde' mce_style='font-family: arial black, avant garde;'><IMG src='http://www.petfinder.com/fotos/TX1194/TX1194.13429175-1-x.jpg' mce_src='http://www.petfinder.com/fotos/TX1194/TX1194.13429175-1-x.jpg'></SPAN></SPAN></A><SPAN style='FONT-FAMILY: ; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #ffffff' mce_style='background-color: #ffffff;'><SPAN style='FONT-FAMILY: arial black, avant garde' mce_style='font-family: arial black, avant garde;'> </SPAN></SPAN></H1></CENTER></H1></CENTER> <CENTER> <H1> <CENTER> <H1><SPAN style='FONT-FAMILY: ; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #ffffff' mce_style='background-color: #ffffff;'><SPAN style='FONT-FAMILY: arial black, avant garde' mce_style='font-family: arial black, avant garde;'>Dachshund and Boston Terrier Rescue of Cedar Park, Texas</SPAN></SPAN></H1></CENTER></H1></CENTER> <CENTER> <H1> <CENTER> <H2><A onclick='pageTracker._trackPageview('outbound/petnoteslinks');' href='mailto:JEFFnCEDARPARK@aol.com' target=_blank mce_href='mailto:JEFFnCEDARPARK@aol.com'><SPAN style='BACKGROUND-COLOR: #ffffff' mce_style='background-color: #ffffff;'><SPAN style='COLOR: #0000ff; FONT-FAMILY: ' mce_style='color: #0000ff;'><SPAN style='FONT-FAMILY: arial black, avant garde' mce_style='font-family: arial black, avant garde;'>JEFFnCEDARPARK@aol.com</SPAN></SPAN></SPAN></A></H2></CENTER></H1></CENTER> <CENTER> <H1> <DIV style='TEXT-ALIGN: left' mce_style='TEXT-ALIGN: left'> <H3><SPAN style='FONT-FAMILY: ; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #ffffff' mce_style='background-color: #ffffff;'><SPAN style='FONT-FAMILY: arial black, avant garde' mce_style='font-family: arial black, avant garde;'>Jeff Tarpley Rescue is a one man rescue dedicated to helping animals. All animals for adoption are rescued from shelters or owner surrenders. Every JTR rescued animal is fully vetted and 100% healthy prior to adoption. Puppies under 4 months old receive their shots from a DVM. A spay/neuter contract is required for adoption. The vetting of an adult animal includes spay/neutered, shots with rabies, heartworm and parasite tested. Treatment of heartworms, dentals, cherry eye repair, mange, parvo exposure and broken limbs are some examples of what is done to save lives. Vet records come with adoption along with the last date of interceptor for heartworm prevention and frontline placed for flea control.</SPAN></SPAN></H3></DIV> <CENTER> <H3><A onclick='pageTracker._trackPageview('outbound/petnoteslinks');' href='http://search.petfinder.com/shelterSearch/shelterSearch.cgi?shelterid=TX1194' target=_blank mce_href='http://search.petfinder.com/shelterSearch/shelterSearch.cgi?shelterid=TX1194'><SPAN style='BACKGROUND-COLOR: #ffffff' mce_style='background-color: #ffffff;'><SPAN style='COLOR: #0000ff; FONT-FAMILY: ' mce_style='color: #0000ff;'><SPAN style='FONT-FAMILY: arial black, avant garde' mce_style='font-family: arial black, avant garde;'>Click here to see JTR's Homeless Animals for Adoption!</SPAN></SPAN></SPAN></A></H3></CENTER></H1></CENTER></A> <CENTER><BR> <H3><SPAN style='FONT-FAMILY: ; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #ffffff' mce_style='background-color: #ffffff;'><SPAN style='FONT-FAMILY: arial black, avant garde' mce_style='font-family: arial black, avant garde;'></SPAN></SPAN></H3><BR><BR><BR> <CENTER> <H1 style='FONT-FAMILY: ' mce_style='FONT-FAMILY: '><SPAN style='FONT-FAMILY: arial black, avant garde' mce_style='font-family: arial black, avant garde;'><SPAN style='FONT-FAMILY: ; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #ffffff' mce_style='background-color: #ffffff;'>Never adopted before?</SPAN><BR><BR></SPAN></H1></CENTER> <CENTER> <H3><SPAN style='FONT-FAMILY: ; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #ffffff' mce_style='background-color: #ffffff;'><SPAN style='FONT-FAMILY: arial black, avant garde' mce_style='font-family: arial black, avant garde;'>Everyone wishing to adopt an animal from JTR must complete an adoption application. This application asks for general information about the adopter, adopter’s family, other current and prior pets and previous veterinary care. If you have never had a family pet before, follow up veterinary calls will be made during the year to insure the animal is being well cared for. Home visits are required unless the distance is too far for JTR or JTR’s contacts. Pictures of the home and common ground are required. Once the application is approved the adopter may meet and or adopt any of JTR's animals. A signed adoption contract is required. Adopters with approved applications are top priority to JTR.</SPAN></SPAN></H3></CENTER></CENTER></H3><BR><BR><BR> <CENTER> <H2 style='FONT-FAMILY: ' mce_style='FONT-FAMILY: '><SPAN style='FONT-FAMILY: arial black, avant garde' mce_style='font-family: arial black, avant garde;'>To learn more about Jeff and his rescues please go to <SPAN style='COLOR: #0000ff; FONT-FAMILY: ' mce_style='color: #0000ff;'><A href='http://www.jefftarpleyrescue.petfinder.com/' mce_href='http://www.JeffTarpleyRescue.Petfinder.com'><SPAN style='COLOR: #0000ff; FONT-FAMILY: ' mce_style='color: #0000ff;'>www.JeffTarpleyRescue.Petfinder.com</SPAN></A><SPAN style='COLOR: #0000ff; FONT-FAMILY: ' mce_style='color: #0000ff;'> </SPAN></SPAN></SPAN></H2></CENTER></CENTER></CENTER></CENTER></CENTER>
