Lou - a little guy!'s Story
The adoption fee is in Canadian dollars. Convert it to US dollars if you live in the US.

Lou is in Kentucky currently and he is looking for his new family. Lou can be adopted in Ontario, Michigan, Ohio or Kentucky or surrounding regions. We will transport him to you! Please also look at Landon, who was found as a stray with Lou and is also looking for his furever family.

Lou and Landon were both scheduled to be euthanized for lack of open kennels and we had to act very quickly to get them out of the shelter. Fosters save lives!

Lou is a very good boy! Lou is quiet, mannerly and obedient, a young dog who likes to make new friends. Lou is mostly quiet, affectionate, friendly, gentle and obedient. Lou loves other dogs and is great with people, the perfect companion!

The shelter staff told us they think that Lou lived in a home before he was abandoned because when he was picked up as a stray with Landon, he was very clean, mannerly/cooperative and just a little bit fat. LOL, these are unusual traits for stray hounds in the south! So we think he probably will be comfortable indoors and he might even have a few house skills.

Lou is very ready to have a loving home again. He loves to play with other dogs, so if you have a furry brother or sister, that's no problem for me! Or adopt Landon too! Lou enjoys the company of others, so he is eager to join your family. Lou just needs someone to give him a chance.

Please consider giving Lou a home. He wants to make his new family proud and be the best dog ever!

Here is more about Lou:

--12 months old and 17 kg or 38 lbs, cutest little guy
--Foxhound mix, possibly some Beagle?
--Great with people and dogs, a good listener
--We don't know how he is with cats or kids
--Vaccinated, dewormed, neutered, microchipped
--Lou gets antibiotics for an Ehrlicia infection, completed on July 11

Please fill out this online form to start the process of adopting Lou:

https://www.coonhoundrescue.ca/adoption-application

Thank you for reading and considering!
