Lotus

Hi Everyone! My name is Lotus. Just like a beautiful flower that takes time to blossom and bloom.<br/><br/>I am a roughly 7–8-year-old, boxer mix of some sort. I am sweet, gentle, and quite the snuggler. I have been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and I’m up to date on my heartworm testing.<br/><br/>My past is a rough one, I was taken out of a horrible hoarding situation and transferred to this shelter to have a second chance, and to find a loving family that will help me open up even more.<br/><br/>I was previously in a foster home, and they helped me come such a long way. They worked with me on my potty training, which I’m still working on, and helped me learn that not all touch is bad and that love really does exist.<br/><br/>My new home would be a quiet one, with a fenced in back yard. It would be one that has people who are kind, understanding, and give me time to warm up. Another dog or a cat friend would be a bonus because it definitely helps increase my confidence. It would have lots of snacks, and someone to take pictures of my adorable underbite that will keep you smiling all day long.<br/><br/>If you’d like to come meet me, or just sit and snuggle, I’m available Tuesday-Saturday 10am-6pm.
