Lotto - fire survivor!'s Story
In Rome, GA a fire whipped through someone's mobile home and attached outbuilding which housed a number of dogs she was breeding in order to sell puppies. Nearly 40 dogs died. Survivors were dispersed to animal rescue groups. Lotto is one of the survivors. The breeder is quoted in the newspapers as being unsure she could start her business again after seeing all the burnt dog carcases. We're keeping our fingers crossed this woman will never be in charge of another animal's life. Despite her experience, Lotto is energetic, perky and happy. Her whole little body wags, not just her tail, when she sees you. She's around 8 years old but you'd never know it. She loves, loves, loves to play. JRTs often live into their teens so Lotto's got lots more living and loving to do. Lotto doesn't hold anyone any grudges and she's ready to move on to the next chapter of her life. If you're in need of a trusty little vivacious sidekick, look no further - Lotto is your girl! She gets along well people, other dogs and even cats so all you need to do is tell us when you plan on coming to pick her up! Contact us now at adoptions@homelesspets.com and ask for Lotto. Ready to commit? Fax an application (found at homelesspet.com/adoptions) to 770-971-1292.
