Lottie's Story
Introducing Lottie!!

Lottie is a 2‐year‐old Boxer with a gorgeous brindle coat and a heart as big as her smile. Fully grown at 64 pounds, she’s the kind of dog who lights up a room just by walking into it. Friendly, social, and always excited to be part of whatever’s going on, Lottie is the definition of a “people dog.”

She’s wonderfully dog‐friendly, cat‐friendly, and would do great with older children who can handle her enthusiastic greetings. Her joy is genuine, her tail never stops wagging, and she’s happiest when she’s included. Lottie is no stranger to cuddling up next to her people, but when its time to play, she is not messing around. She would do wonderfully in an active home with a backyard for her to zoom around in.

Whether you’re heading out for an adventure or settling in for a cozy evening, Lottie is ready to be right there with you. She thrives on connection, loves making new friends, and brings a contagious, feel‐good energy everywhere she goes.

If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, always‐happy companion, Lottie is ready to join your family and fill your days with love and laughter!

Lottie is spayed, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, and microchipped.

Given the conditions Lottie originated from, upon rescue, she tested positive for Heartworm disease. Thanks to Home for Good Dog Rescue, Lottie has completed her Heartworm treatment.

*Heartworm disease is a serious and if left untreated, fatal disease. It is caused by foot-long worms (heartworms) that live in the heart, lungs, and associated blood vessels of affected animals, causing severe lung disease, heart failure, and damage to other organs in the body. Mosquitoes are carriers of heartworms and have the ability to infect dogs all year round, especially in the Southeastern portion of the United States and during the summer months.*

**Please note: completing an "adoption inquiry" via Adopt-a-pet/Petfinder does not constitute an HFG Dog Rescue adoption application. All adoption applications must be completed on www.hfgdr.org**

HFG Dog Rescue is a 100 percent foster-based rescue located in Berkeley Heights, NJ with a sister location, The Almost Home Wellness Center, in Aiken, SC. All of our dogs are rescued from kill shelters in SC + GA and once ready for adoption live in loving local NJ foster homes until they find forever families of their own. Our fosters begin basic training, housebreaking, and leash-walking skills to help pair you with the perfect pup for life!

In order to apply for adoption and set up an individual meet and greet with one of our dogs, please visit us at www.hfgdr.org.

Find us on Facebook at www.facebook.com/HomeForGoodDogRescue.
