Lottie's Story
LOTTIE is a fun, sweet, easygoing red beagle girl looking for a home. She LOVES people. Loves loves loves. She's a silly medium energy girl, about 2 years old and fully grown at 29 pounds. It's tough to get good photos of Lottie, she's a happy little wigglebutt who just wants to get as close as she can to people. Someone found Lottie as a pregnant stray. She gave birth to her pups who were apparently given away or sold. After they were gone, she chewed on a cord in the finders' home so they dumped her in an overcrowded rural shelter where she faced the possibility of euthanasia. Yeah, not on our watch. We grabbed up this joyful gem of a dog and we are so glad we did. What a delightful girl she's turned out to be. Lottie is great with other dogs and enjoys playtime but she's not an over-the-top rough and tumble type. Mostly she enjoys time with people and would be so happy to cuddle up on the sofa with her humans. If you'd like to meet Lottie, please fill out a dog adoption application at
dreamhouserescue.org.
We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Lottie at our weekly adoption event, Saturday 11:30am-1:30pm at PetSmart Eastgate.

Our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention.
