Lottie's Story

Charlotte "Lottie," a beautiful 3-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel with a heart as soft as her velvety ears. Once a puppy mill mama, Lottie is now discovering just how wonderful life can be.

Lottie is happiest when she's out exploring. She loves trips to the park and walks on the trails, especially when there are plenty of interesting smells to investigate, bunnies to chase, and hills to conquer. When the adventures are over, Lottie is more than happy to curl up on the couch with her favorite people and a bully stick close by.

Because of her past, Lottie can be timid when she first meets someone. Give her a little time and patience, though, and you'll see her sweet, affectionate personality shine. Once she trusts you, Lottie loves being close to her people and is happy to be your shadow. She's also a big believer that personal space is optional and that humans make excellent pillows!

Lottie is crate trained, housebroken, and leash trained. She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on her vaccines and preventatives, and has had a dental cleaning.

Lottie would do well as an only dog or with a calm, respectful dog similar in size who will give her the space she needs. She is looking for a family who understands that dogs like Lottie may need a little extra time to feel comfortable and learn that they are finally safe.

Lottie is proof that every dog deserves a second chance. These days, her biggest decision is whether the couch or her human makes the comfiest pillow.

Lottie is being fostered in Enola and a meet and greet with all family members will be required for potential adopters.

www.zoeshouserescue.com

Kennel License #9117
Reading, PA 19608
