Lotti's Story

Lotti is a 5-month-old puppy who is ALL puppy! This incredibly sweet and smart girl is full of curiosity, energy, and that adorable puppy charm that makes it hard not to fall in love. We believe she may be a Carolina Dog mix, and at 17 pounds now, we expect she'll grow to be around 35–45 pounds when fully grown.

Lotti arrived at the shelter as a stray, so we don't know much about her past. What we do know is that she's a bright young girl with so much potential! Like many puppies, she's still learning her manners and will need someone willing to help her grow into the best dog she can be.

One area where Lotti will need some extra guidance is around food. She can be a little rough when taking treats and has shown some resource guarding with her meals. She'll need an adopter or foster who is willing to work with her patiently and positively to help her learn that she doesn't have to worry about her food. Because of this, a home without small children will be important for her.

At this age, Lotti would also benefit from having a well-matched canine companion to learn from and play with. With consistency, patience, and lots of love, we believe this smart girl has all the potential to grow into a wonderful companion.

Lotti is still just a baby with so much to learn and so much love to give. Could you be the person who helps her grow into the amazing dog she's meant to be?
