Meet Lorellei!<br/><br/>This inquisitive eight-month-old Great Dane mix is 58 pounds of fantastic fun!<br/><br/>Light-heated and lovable, Lorellei is truly a joy to hang with. She is very eager to please and did so well for her photo shoot. She is tolerant and curious about the world around her. Looking for a pal to explore the world with? Lorellei could be an ideal match. Give this pup some toys and her playful side is ready to roll! <br/><br/>Lorellei recently went on an outing with some of our awesome volunteers! They hit the trail for a 2.5 mile hike. She did well on leash and was great with passing people and pups. Lorellei also loved exploring in the water! She rides well in the car with some assistance getting in. Of course no outing is complete without a special treat. She thoroughly enjoyed her pup cup before heading back to the kennel.<br/><br/>As she is still a young lady, Lorellei will benefit from daily exercise, continued training, and a yard to enjoy in her new home. She already knows how to sit and takes her treats well. Due to her size, she will need a capable handler with breed experience to help train her. She enjoys the company of other dogs and could make and excellent pal for another furry friend.<br/><br/>Based on our evaluation, we feel Lorellei would do best in an active home with adults or families with kids ages 12 and up.
