Lorax's Story

Meet Lorax Lorax is a warrior princess with two priorities in life: eating and throwing down. She loves her food and will never turn down a snack, but her true passion is wrestling and play-fighting-24/7. She's loud, dramatic, and fully committed to making sure everyone knows when it's time to THROW PAWS. Lorax started out on the cautious side, but she recently conquered the stairs and apparently decided, 'Well, if I can do THAT, I can do anything.' She's becoming more confident every day and is much less shy about exploring the world around her. She's playful, entertaining, and has a big personality packed into one little warrior princess. If you're looking for a pup who will keep you laughing, keep you moving, and probably keep you stocked with snacks, Lorax might be your girl. Ready to meet this little badass? Pound PuppyZ's Adoption Policy
After receiving an adoption application, we forward the application to the foster of that dog. We feel the fosters know the dog best and are the best person to decide the right match for their foster dog. Once the foster receives the application if they feel it may be a good fit, they reach out to the applicant to chat, answer any questions and potentially set up a meet. The next steps are to have the dog meet all of the members of the home and all of the pets in the home. We want to ensure that all of the animals get along and are a good fit. Prior to any dog being adopted, there must be a home check done. Once all the steps are complete we sign the contract and the dog goes to their new family.
