Lonnie - In foster!'s Story
Urgently Looking for a Loving Home! Meet Lonnie!
Lonnie was brought in from a property with 10 other dogs. When she and the others arrived at the shelter, they were completely shut down and fearful. Since then, we have been working tirelessly to get them to start trusting humans.

While her life didn't have the best start, we are committed to making sure that Lonnie finds the loving home she deserves. Lonnie has made incredible strides here at the shelter, and we believe he is ready for a Foster or Forever Home!

What Lonnie Needs in a Home:
Lonnie will thrive with an owner who can provide structure, confidence, and continued patience.

Confident Owner Required: Lonnie needs a confident, experienced owner who can provide clear direction and stability. Her new family must be willing to continue her training and socialization. She is an intelligent girl and is almost potty trained!

Home Presence: Lonnie is looking for a home where someone can be present for the majority of the day, as she does not do well and can be stressed when crated for long periods.

Child Restriction: Due to her fearful nature and specific behavioral needs, a home is required with no children younger than 15 years old. This is to ensure a calm and predictable environment for Lonnie.

Canine Companion Criteria: Lonnie can live with another dog, but her companion must be a larger, confident dog who is between the ages of 3 and 5 and loves to play. This stable dog will serve as a good role model for Lonnie's continued progress.

Interested in learning more about Lonnie?
