Longfellow's Story

Meet Longfellow

Longfellow is a 6-month-old mixed breed weighing around 35 pounds, with a heart as big as his love for cuddles. His foster lovingly calls him their "little chicken noodle boy," and once you meet him, you'll understand why. He's the kind of dog who just wants to be close to his people.

This affectionate guy absolutely adores snuggling and would happily spend hours curled up beside you. He's also a big fan of other dogs and loves having canine friends around to keep him company. Longfellow is cat-friendly too; he doesn't chase them or bother them, making him a respectful housemate for dog-savvy felines.

Longfellow came into rescue a little on the skinny side, so he's currently enjoying three meals a day while he fills out. He's very food motivated, which makes training a breeze! He's also doing fantastic with potty training, with only a couple of accidents while settling into his foster home.

Like many young dogs, Longfellow is still learning his social manners. Sometimes he gets so excited about getting attention that he doesn't realize another dog may not want to share the cuddles. With continued guidance and positive reinforcement, he's learning to respect boundaries and is making great progress every day.

If you're looking for a loyal shadow who will happily snuggle on the couch, make you laugh with his sweet personality, and love you with his whole heart, Longfellow is ready to be your best friend.

Could Longfellow be your perfect match? https://form.jotform.com/82708252435154
