Long-Term Project's Story
Age: 12 years
Size: 35-40 lbs
Good with: kids and dogs (possibly ok with cats too, just not tested)

Long-Term Project was neglected and starved by his previous owner, .When they finally surrendered him to the shelter, he was emaciated and crippled by pain from unchecked ear infections and arthritis.

Despite his poor condition, Project quickly found his way into the shelter volunteers' hearts. They describe him as a sleepy old man who likes things on his own terms. He may seem reserved at first, but once he's comfortable you'll discover a lovable, hilarious companion with plenty of personality. He grunts and chatters to himself when he's feeling contented.

Project is now healthy and happy in his foster home. In his fosters' words:

“The goodest boy is doing phenomenally! He leans into pets, follows us from room to room and LOVES going for sniff walks around the neighborhood.

He is one of the calmest, gentlest, sweetest pups we have ever met. He is curious about everyone and every dog we pass. The times when a dog has barked at him, he would stop and look at them as if to say - I can’t imagine what the matter could be, we could be pals if you change your mind.

He is the perfect companion - anyone who decides to make him their forever will be very lucky!”

Long-Term Project is fostered in Brooklyn, NY. He's available for local or out-of-state adoption as long as the adopter can travel to meet him. To adopt, please send us an application at https://bit.ly/rosr-adopt-foster.
