Long term foster or forever home needed for older boy Roman

The shelter has been hard on me… I try to stay hopeful, but each day gets a little heavier.<br/><br/>I’m not asking for forever… just for a little more time.<br/><br/>Time to feel the warmth of the sun on my back again. Time to enjoy a good meal without stress. Time to rest somewhere soft, where I feel safe. Time to be loved… and to love someone right back.<br/><br/>With a little help for my aching joints, I know I could still have good days ahead. Days where I wag my tail, where I feel peace, where I remember what it’s like to belong.<br/><br/>It’s not my time yet… I’m not ready to go.<br/><br/>And when that day does come, I don’t want it to be here, alone and afraid.
