Lola Lox's Story
8-year-old Lola was surrendered to South LA Shelter due to changes in her family's situation. After becoming a Frosted Face, Lola kept a busy social calendar, going out for pup cups at coffee shops, shopping at Kahoots, attending community events, and participating on our weekly Sunday hikes. Lola is a great walking buddy!

For the last three months, Lola has been living with a Foster family. With time to adjust, she is doing well with the other dogs in the home. (She is not good with cats.) After having a dental, Lola is feeling great and is all ready to meet her forever family. Might that be you?

Here's the latest report from her foster mom:
"A chill husky? Let me tell you more...
We have Lola on a solid schedule now, and she is doing so well! She is full of husky spice, but when she trusts you enough to show her personality it's impossible NOT to love her. I'm hoping someone will want to give her the time to learn her love language.

Lola loves:
- Food
- A solid ear scratch
- Balls
- Socks
- Kisses on the nose
- Meeting people (it puts extra pep in her step!)

This weekend, Lola came with us everywhere I could take her. She was sooo happy! First up was a quick stop at Starbucks and then over to watch a soccer game. She did really well walking past other dogs and even when an off-leash dog ran up and got in her face, only a slight lip curl! What Lola DIDNT like, was too many people walked by her with out paying the obligatory petting toll! She did so well that today I took all three of our dogs to the beach and then dinner afterwards.

Lola is happy to completely ignore dogs for the most part if they stay out of her space. She loved watching all the commotion, and she really wanted this little chihuahua's ball, but she is so good on a leash it doesn't take much to correct her. She did amazing sitting down with me in the sand while dogs ran all around her. At dinner she just sat patiently next to me while I ate. Lola loves getting out. She was so much fun!

Lola does not like pushy dogs, or dogs in her face, but if you give her space to acclimate, she can join a pack. (Refer to the photo of her laying next to my pushy dog.

I adore her. Truthfully and honestly adore her. She takes patience, but once she starts to open up, she will make you laugh. The more time I spend with her the more of her goofy personality comes out.

Who is interested in adopting this sweet fluff ball and watching her open up and share her personality with you?"

To meet lovely Lola, please email:
placement@frostedfacesfoundation.org
