Lola Lox's Story

8-year-old Lola was surrendered to South LA Shelter due to changes in her family's situation. After becoming a Frosted Face, Lola kept a busy social calendar, going out for pup cups at coffee shops, shopping at Kahoots, attending community events, and participating on our weekly Sunday hikes. Lola is a great walking buddy!

For the last three months, Lola has been living with a Foster family. With time to adjust, she is doing well with the other dogs in the home. (She is not good with cats.) After having a dental, Lola is feeling great and is all ready to meet her forever family. Might that be you?

Here's the latest report from her foster mom:
"A chill husky? Let me tell you more...
We have Lola on a solid schedule now, and she is doing so well! She is full of husky spice, but when she trusts you enough to show her personality it's impossible NOT to love her. I'm hoping one of you want to give her the time to learn her love language.

Lola loves:
- Food
- A solid ear scratch
- Balls
- Socks
- Kisses on the nose

She will protest:
- Not enough food
- Butt brushing
- Butt scratches if she doesn't trust you yet
- Being pulled on the collar
- Early morning wake ups

Lola takes treats gently. She does well with new people if she can come to them. She made several new human friends at my house this weekend.

Lola does not like pushy dogs, or dogs in her face, but if you give her space to acclimate, she can join a pack. (Refer to the photo of her laying next to my pushy dog.

I adore her. Truthfully and honestly adore her. She takes patience, but once she starts to open up, she will make you laugh. I'm happy to share all I've learned about her with anyone interested."

To meet lovely Lola, please email:
placement@frostedfacesfoundation.org
