Lola Lox's Story
8-year-old Lola is blue-eyed beauty who entered South LA Shelter as an owner surrender. She arrived with glowing notes - described as sweet, friendly, calm, house-trained, and gentle. She lived indoors, slept in the bedroom, and loved squeaky toys & treats.

As a Frosted Face, Lola has kept a busy social calendar, going out for a puppacino at a coffee shop, shopping at Kahoots Pet Supplies, and participating on our weekly Sunday hikes. Lola is a great walking buddy!

Lola went on a two-week Frosted Fling, so we could learn more about her while she enjoyed spending time in the comfort of a home again. Her Fling Mom reports:

"Lola is such a sweet girl! She is very friendly to all new people, wants to be near you, but she isn't clingy, and loves playing with toys. She is house-trained, very good at "sit" and "paw" commands, and extremely gentle with treats. When home alone, she is very chill and just sleeps. Lola loves walks and usually takes a break once we reach the 1.5 mile mark.

While Lola was with us, we would wake up and go on a walk around the neighborhood, where she would enjoy sniffing all the flowers and go potty in the same spot overlooking the ocean. Then, we would go back home and enjoy breakfast.

While I worked, Lola would nap and play gently with her toy. Then we'd go on a lunch walk, where she would mark the neighborhood! I'd let her off leash while I gardened (since it's a fenced area), and she'd sit next to me and watch me garden. Finally, after dinner, we'd go on our longest walk, and work on some light training with treats."

Lola is back on-site and ready to meet her forever family.
