My name is Lola. I am a little over 1 years old and my current family rescued me from a family in Maryland who couldn't care for me. The first trait that would describe me best is loyal. I love to enjoy all of the small things in life - playing in the hose during the summer, running around in my big backyard (fenced), and snuggling up next to my humans. I enjoy following my humans around the house and taking a nap right at their feet. I get SO excited when everyone wakes up in the morning or gets home from work. Sometimes I even spin in circles from all of the excitement. I am happy, loyal, and you will get lost in my eyes! <br/><br/>I currently have two other siblings that I get along with. I am very dominant when it comes to other dogs. I click with some dogs and I don't click with others. I am sometimes hesitant when it comes to new people (sometimes men) and it takes me a moment to feel comfortable. I like my own space until I decide to walk over to meet them. Once I know you, you're in my circle for forever! <br/><br/>I am what they call a "soul dog". I love deeply and am happy to be a loyal companion to my humans. I have not been exposed to kids much so I'm not really sure how I feel about them. I play hard, rest hard, and am crate trained for when my humans need to leave me in the house for a bit.
