Lola Bunny - SweetHeart!

Lola is around 3-4, spayed, calm submissive. Good enough to walk off leash, loves walks and can keep up (have gone 2+miles so far) but is low energy maintenance. She’s Potty trained. Great with dogs, but learning not all dogs like to play! <br/><br/>She’s a push pull / rough rowdy ( K9 play styles) living with three crazy Boston terrier mixes, two horses, and some cats that roam the property. She is Curious, has random Energy bursts and is the most Loving dog! She is Smart, Loyal, and a really Good listener. Really the perfect dog; she's been around a lot of things that may be considered "triggers" for a rescue dog (vacuums, loud noises, storms etc.) and while she doesn't love storms, she is unphased. <br/><br/>Like all dogs; Lola needs a strong, calm, leader to be consistent in rules and boundaries, what to do and what not to do, and she will be the best dog you've ever met! We are here to help. She’s happy as a pack mate or only child. She is Crate trained; did whine a little in there to start but will quiet down quickly, and she's a short dog so smaller than her bulkiness suggests! No signs of abuse (ears and tail in tact) and in great health! Low shedding. Not very vocal, will "grumble" noticing something outside; but it's super light and a quick no-command is all she needs. She listens to your direction so well she will really be easy to take over from the progress we've made! All dogs become what you want them to! She’ll be a blank slate of greatness you can tell to stay off furniture, or if it’s ok/not okay to bark at the mailman. I have no asterisks here except if you have a dog that isn't the best trained, we will want to make sure that they can coexist peacefully, but she's been living with our three who push every button a dog has, so with a good leader there won't be an issue. All three dogs she is living with are small (25 lbs) and one is 15+ years old, blind and deaf. She is very tolerant of others.<br/><br/>We're the Schwen Animal Rescue, a family run 501 (c) 3 nonprofit animal rescue. Lola is living in our home, with our personal animals, and so we have intimate knowledge of her and what home will be the best fit for her. Ease of training, listening skills, and behavior are the reasons why she's a top dog we've encountered! She will sleep in the crate with minimal whining, but will sleep on a dog bed on the floor without even trying to jump on the bed!
