Lola (aka Brown Lola)'s Story
Lola is one of three dogs named Lola we have at the shelter. We lovingly refer to her as Brown Lola. She is more dachshund looking than chihuahua but she definitely has traits of both breeds. She is 11 years old and was an owner surrender. Her owner was moving and couldn’t take her but also mentioned that Lola has some senior issues such as occasionally going potty in the house and described her as a “grumpy old lady.” She was underweight when we got her but she has a good appetite and is gaining weight. She is crated in her foster home and does have some anxiety in the crate but will settle down and occasionally guards her crate. She would do best in a home without other dogs and needs an owner that is patient and understanding of senior dogs. She is nervous with new people but warms up quickly.

If you are interested in meeting Lola, please submit an application on our website at https://www.rainingcatsanddogsshelter.com/adoption. We will respond by email so please check your spam folder. We are 100% volunteer so please be patient with us as we process your application.
