Lola's Story

Lola’s a 1yo (DOB 4/13/25) 9lb Schnauzer/poodle mix. She’s dog and kid 12+ friendly. She’s housebroken when kept on a schedule, pee pad and crate trained, but prefers the door left open when you are home. She needs time to warm up to new environments but once she does she is a love bug. She loves being in her fosters secure fenced in yard to play with the resident dogs and is good on harness leashed walks. She likes to play with toys, other dogs, cuddle with her people and be with them as much as possible. She is a barker so would need a single-family home so not to disturb the neighbors.

Lola’s foster requires an active family, where someone is home often, so not to be left for long periods of time, a secure fenced in yard, another young playful dog, along with leadership, consistency, structure and to continue working on training. If your home DOES NOT meet these requirement’s please DO NOT put an application in. We will not call anyone whose home does not meet the needed requirements. Also, we will be concentrating on local to foster applications 1st since home checks and meets with all humans and animals in home is needed at meet. Our fosters are all volunteers so aren’t always able to travel too far.

Lola as all dogs should have at least 2 weeks in their new home with just their people who live in the home and to not have people over for at least 2 weeks. Dogs need time to settle in and adjust to their new people and environment first so they can learn to trust them first.

Lola is spayed, vaccinated, hw negative and microchipped. Currently in Merion Station, PA. If your home meets the needed requirements and you’re interested in applying to adopt please do so at www.tprescue.org
