Lola's Story

Jennifer Wakem <jenwakem@gmail.com>
5:26 AM (7 minutes ago)
to me

Lola is honestly an incredibly sweet dog. She has a very calm, gentle demeanor and rarely ever barks, so I definitely wouldn't describe her as a yapper. She's very affectionate with people and loves getting attention and being loved on. I actually think she would make a wonderful travel companion and would be perfectly happy hanging out with you at the shop during the day.

She's also been great with my three dogs. I don't have any cats, so unfortunately I can't say for certain how she would do with them. She's rarely reactive in general and has such a gentle personality that I would predict she'd probably be fine, but I'd definitely want to be transparent that she hasn't been cat tested with me.

She's also very comfortable having a kennel as her own little space. We rescued her from a backyard breeder who unfortunately kept her kenneled in a garage most of the time, so I think having a kennel available has become something familiar and comforting to her. She'll happily hang out in there and seems to view it as her safe space.

Overall, she really is such a kind, calm little soul. She's very easy to love, and the kind of life you're describing for her sounds like something she could really thrive in.
