Lola's Story

**LOLA IS NOT IN THE DIRECT CARE OF HAPPY TAILS HAPPY HOMES. Her owners are needing to rehome her and we are assisting in that process. If you are interested in Lola, please fill out an application here: https://www.happytailshappyhomes.org/adoptionform **

Meet Lola!
Birthday: April 15, 2019
Spayed, microchipped & up-to-date on vaccines

Lola is the sweetest, goofiest pup who has brought so much joy to her family. She's always been wonderful with kids and has had many happy years alongside another dog. Recently, however, she's had unprovoked issues with their senior pup, likely brought on by the stress of a cross-country move. Because her family must prioritize the health and safety of their 15-year-old dog, they're looking for a new home where Lola can continue to thrive.

Lola is a playful, eager-to-please girl who loves fetch, running, squeaky toys, and even the occasional game of tug-of-war. After playtime, she's a pro at finding the silliest positions to nap in-bonus points if it's a sunny spot!

She's great with kids of all ages, typically warms up to strangers after a few minutes, and has done well boarding in the past. While she may need to be an only pet, she'll be the happiest companion for an active family with room to run and plenty of love to give.

Lola is crate trained (she sees it as her safe space) and house trained, though she may have an accident if not kept on a routine. She can be a little strong on leash but settles in after a few blocks. She's food-motivated, smart, and ready to learn.

If you're looking for a sweet, silly, loyal companion to join your family's adventures-and cuddle up afterward-Lola could be the perfect match!
