Oh, Lola girl! It's hard to believe her story. Adopted from the shelter over 12 years ago just to be brought back in as a Heartworm positive senior girl. But we won't let her past define her. What Lola deserves now is a home for her remaining golden years.<br/><br/>True to a hound, Lola likes to sing the songs of her people if you miss dinnertime by even a few minutes. She loves rolling on her back and getting affection. She is fostered with other dogs of all sizes and has been a very calm, sweet girl. <br/><br/>Lola is spayed, had a dental, and up to date on all other medical. She is Heartworm positive, but the vet is recommending not to proceed with treatment injections. Caitie's Foster Fam's Adoption Policy
• Potential adopters are required to submit an adoption application and be approved before they can physically meet a foster dog. All pets in the home must be up to date on vaccines and spayed/neutered (medical exceptions must be communicated). We require an application, virtual home visit, personal/vet references, meet and greet, and $350 adoption fee. • Suitable applicants may be contacted for additional screening. • Once approved, meet and greets with the foster dog and foster parents will be scheduled with qualified applicants. • The adopter pays adoption fees and signs an adoption contract. Foster dogs cannot go to a potential adopter’s home until the fee and contract are received. Foster dog then goes to its new forever home.
