Lola's Story

Lola is unsure of people, but loves other dogs! She is a typical street dog who hasn’t really known human love and compassion, but does well with other dogs and would take keys from comfortable family dog to learn to love you!<br/>She follows us around at the shelter, but when you reach down to pet her, she backs off. She does like treats, so that may be the key to her heart as she learns to trust humans. It won’t take long, but it will take some patience to get her where she needs to be as a pet!<br/>If you think you have what it takes, apply to find out more about her!

Hi there!  So you've decided a furry friend is just what you need?  Please apply on our website, https://bigbonescaninerescue.com to get the ball rolling.  You'll be contacted for a home visit to verify your home is an optimal situation for the pup(s) you're interested in.  At any point, you can make arrangements to meet the dogs you are considering.  Some are in foster care and some are at our facility in Windsor. Big Bones Canine Rescue is located in Windsor, CO.  We have dogs at our shelter location as well as many dogs in foster care all over the state.  We do require appointments to come visit dogs.  Please call or text 970.310.3616 or email us at bigbonesrescue@gmail.com to set up an appointment.
