Meet Loki! Loki came to SBR after being surrendered by a breeder because, in four years, he hadnt sired a single litter. That may not have worked out for the breeder, but it worked out wonderfully for Loki—because now he has the opportunity to find what every dog truly deserves: a loving forever home.<br/>Everything about life as a family pet is new to Loki. Hes discovering that people can be kind, that couches are incredibly comfortable, and that treats, toys, and belly rubs are pretty amazing. Like many former breeder dogs, hes still building confidence and learning that the world isnt such a scary place.<br/>Loki is a gentle, sweet-natured boy who will thrive with a patient family willing to let him adjust at his own pace. Having at least one other friendly, confident dog in the home will help him continue to gain confidence and learn what it means to simply be a beloved companion instead of a breeding dog.<br/>For now, Loki is enjoying life with a wonderful foster family, where hes taking his first steps toward a brighter future. As he settles in, completes his medical care, and lets his personality shine, well be sharing updates on his progress.
