Looking for an adventure buddy with a sweet side? Meet Loki!<br/><br/>Loki is a 6-year-old red merle Australian Shepherd with a docked tail, a perpetual wiggle butt, and a whole lot of love to give! This neutered boy is one of those happy, affectionate Aussies who just wants to be wherever his people are.<br/><br/>Loki absolutely loves people. He enjoys attention from everyone he meets and will happily accept all the pets and belly rubs you’re willing to give. He also loves snuggling on the couch and keeping his humans company on errands. Whether they’re heading out for an adventure or simply puttering around the house, Loki would like to be included!<br/><br/>He has a playful side, too. Loki loves playing fetch and will enthusiastically jump into the air to catch a ball or frisbee. He also enjoys walks and is a nice leash walker.<br/><br/>Loki is food motivated and has impressed a professional trainer with his willingness to learn. In fact, he was used to help teach new trainers and earned high praise for his behavior and trainability. He knows several basic commands, including sit and stay, and is always happy to work for a tasty reward.<br/><br/>Despite his playful side, Loki is very content to relax inside with his people. He is house trained and crate trained, and he is continuing to work on his house manners. He occasionally enjoys a little counter grazing, but otherwise is happy to settle in and relax.<br/><br/>Loki does have some big feelings about other dogs and cats when he encounters them while on leash or behind a fence. Because of this, he would do well as an only dog, or potentially with resident dogs following slow, thoughtful introductions and appropriate management. His ideal home is one without cats.
