I don't need much — just a place where I can finally relax, feel safe, and know I'm home. I also do best on a salmon-based diet, as poultry upsets my tummy.<br/><br/> <br/><br/>I also believe in being honest — so here's my story.<br/><br/> <br/><br/>I've come to the shelter three times in my short life.<br/><br/>Twice were due to domestic abuse situations — the first time because I was protecting my person, and the second time before anything escalated. Most recently, I was adopted by a young person who truly loved me, but had to move somewhere I wasn't allowed to go. None of these returns were because of behavior issues or aggression.<br/><br/> <br/><br/>Because I've been left behind more times than I ever should have been, I can feel a little anxious when left alone. It's not because I'm difficult — it's because I've learned that people sometimes don't come back. With reassurance, routine, and stability, I do much better.<br/><br/> <br/><br/>The staff here knows me well. I've wrapped every single one of them around my paw, and I've stolen all of their hearts. They understand my history, my heart, and exactly what kind of home I need — and they are doing everything they can to make sure third times a charm and I never come back here again.. <br/><br/> <br/><br/>I'm not broken.
