Meet Logan

The name is Logan, and I am a fluffy, 50-pound energetic bundle of husky love!
My favorite passtimes include roaming the yard, taking long walks, eating snow, romping with dog friends, riding in the car, pestering my foster mom when she is in a work meeting and I want attention that very second (sometimes I even pop into the Zoom screen to get a collective "Awwww" from her colleagues and students), showing off my sit/shake/lay down skills for yummy treats, and shredding stuffed toys to get the squeaker out.
I am just a year and a half, so I still have some growing up to do and manners to learn, like walking nicely on a leash. I would love to have a human who takes me to obedience classes so we can bond and I can learn those manners. I am eager to please and thrive on attention. Tell me I am beautiful and give me pets, and I will eagerly roll over for belly rubs. I am potty trained, though. Ask my foster mom. She is so proud that she hasn't had to clean up any of my accidents.
I am looking for an active home that will take me for daily walks, and I require a physical fenced-in yard.
Additionally, I would be so thrilled to have a dog friend to play with whose energy matches my own. I find cats fascinating and want to chase them, but given my exurberant play style, a home with cats isn't a good fit for me.
Got kids? I love them! The more humans to play with, the better! But children over 8 will be better suited for my energy level than young ones.
Applicants with husky breed experience will be given priority. My foster mom is also willing to consider homes within 150 miles of Peoria because she wants the absolute best for me.
If you think we're a match, then go ahead and apply! I am eager to meet you!
