Meet Logan

If you’ve been eager to find a handsome athletic, energetic Lab to share your active Colorado adventures with, Logan would love to meet you! This pup is about two years old and a lean 60 pounds. He comes to us after he was abandoned by his owner.

A happy friendly Lab, Logan is house trained and crate trained. He’s perfected ‘sit’ and is working on basic commands with his foster parents. “I’ll do anything for a treat!” he wags. Thrilled to meet new friends, four-on-the-floor could use some work; an Easy Walk harness is best for walks since he wonders why you’re so slow. Logan gets along well with other dogs and loves to play. We don’t know his feelings about cats. His Faves? Exercise, snuggling with you on the couch and anything in the “food family!” A six-foot privacy fence is required in Logan’s forever home.
More from his foster mom:

“What we love best about Logan is his affection for people and his wonderful companionship. He is adorable when he snuggles up to you and tries to climb into your lap thinking he is a lap dog.

“Logan has a lot of energy. He relishes walks; I think he would like to walk all day long if he could! After he gets some exercise, he will look out the window and watch the world go by or lay next to his foster dad as he works. Sometimes he even makes guest appearances on work video calls by climbing into his foster dad’s lap!!

“He is a little bit needy and would prefer a home with someone who is home more than away. He loves to wrestle and play chase with our dog. He has been friendly/playful towards every dog he has met. Overall, Logan is truly a gem with a great disposition; he just needs some discipline, exercise, and most importantly, love.”

Logan is a typical young Lab who will do well with an active Lab savvy family. They must be committed to providing consistent daily exercise (more than a walk a day), structure, kind leadership and positive training to bring out his best. Patience and a sense of humor are must-haves too!

“Hope your motto in life is the same as mine,” woofs Logan. “Hike more. Worry less!”
