Logan's Story

Hello! My name is Logan and I recently lost my beloved Mom, leaving me looking for a soft place to land and a home of my very own. I am the sweetest boy at around 8 years who is housetrained, neutered and up to date on all my vaccines, making me an easy transition to a new furever home. I am great with other dogs and kids, making me the perfect new companion for just about person/persons/ or a family! And I promise to always great you with a wagging tail and happy heart! If you would like to meet me, please fill out a preadoption application and a CDR volunteer will get back to you just as quick as they can!<br/>Warm cuddles and sweet tail wags-Logan

Chicagoland Dog Rescue's Adoption Policy
First step is to decide if you are ready for a long term commitment owning a dog.   Ask yourself if you are ready for vet bills, cost of food, training the dog, and what would happen to him/her if you became ill. Once you have decided you are ready for the commitment, the next step is to come to an adoption show and meet the dog you are interested in. Sometimes people fall in love with a picture, only to find another dog at the show better suits what they are looking for.    Please remember to bring all family members, including dog(s), who live at the home to meet the new dog.  We do not adopt out dogs as gifts.

Our Mission
Chicagoland Dog Rescue (CDR) brought a few people together who had been doing rescue work on their own. Our common goal is to rescue dogs that suffer at the hands of cruel or ignorant owners, owner give-aways, or those that are homeless. We are a small group of volunteers who work full time jobs and try to help as many dogs...
