LOBO's Story

Hi, are you my new family? A good Samaritan saved me from euthanasia at a shelter, but the home they found for me fell through. IMAL is trying to help place me ASAP, because they don't have room at this time to take me in, and the nice lady who helped me already has 4 dogs. I had a very close call, as I was on the kill list and in death row when I was pulled. She said I was too sweet to be killed, and was only at the darn shelter in the first place just 'cause my last family thought I was too big. I am only about 1 1/2 years old, around 100 pounds, and good with most dogs as long as we are carefully introduced. I do have one very cute flop ear that just won't stand up, no matter what. I have been neutered, and am current on shots. I just need a kind, firm home who knows how to train and handle Malamutes, and who just likes big happy dogs! I have not been house trained yet, however, so do be aware that I will need work on that. I am in Pleasant Grove (north of Provo), Utah, and a home near by would be preferred to cut down on transportation issues. Please call soon, I am lost without people of my own. IMAL will post new photos of me as soon as possible (having trouble with moving target!), but I am seal (black with light grey or white undercoat) and white.

UPDATE: Just days after IMAL posted my story, a very nice man adopted me!
