Lizzy's Story
Lizzy was turned over to us when her previous owner got in over their heads and purchased two puppies at the same time: Lizzy & Layla. The girls were just thrown outside in a cage out back and had no socialization at all. When they came to us in rescue, they were pretty close to feral. You couldn't touch them, couldn't pet them, anything, without them crashing into the ground and urinating all over themselves. They have come SO far since then! They know basic commands like sit, off, down & are crate trained, and no longer have that tragic fear that they once did. Lizzy is the quieter of the two. She is more reserved & takes a little while to warm up to people. She does have a sensitive belly, so we have her eating salmon food. She is very sweet and loves to be pet.
