Meet Lizzy, a cute, sweet, scruffy 1-year-old terrier mix (looks like maybe a cross between a Giant Schnauzer & a Dutch Sheepdog), weighing around 47 pounds who is ready to find her forever family! Lizzy is a total social butterfly who loves other dogs, is incredibly fond of people, and does wonderfully with kids. Her absolute favorite place in the world is the dog park where she can run and play, but once she gets all that fun energy out, she has a wonderful "off-switch" and loves to relax and unwind by your side. She is an alert and smart pup who will let out a curious bark when investigating something new or welcoming a visitor into the house, just to let you know someone is there. This well-mannered girl is fully kennel trained, & views her crate as a safe space, is housetrained, and walks wonderfully on a leash for daily walks and hikes. While Lizzy loves making new canine and human buddies, she does like to chase cats, so she will need a cat-free home. Lizzy is at that perfect age where she has plenty of fun puppy energy for adventures, but already has a great foundation of training down and is so ready to shower her new family with love!<br/>Lizzy is fully vaccinated, spayed, heartworm & 4Dx all tested negative. Lizzy still has some of that adolescent energy so she will need regular exercise. A fenced yard & dog playmate would be her dream as she absolutely loves other dogs & loves to play.
