Lizzie is a sweet, lovable hound mix looking for a family to call her own! We believe Lizzie is around 6–7 years old and weighs approximately 68 pounds. While she is a grown-up girl, she definitely still has some puppy in her! Lizzie can be playful, silly, and downright puppy-esque at times, but she is also perfectly happy to settle down for a good nap.<br/> <br/> Lizzie loves the simple things in life—long walks, exploring the backyard, patrolling for squirrels, going for car rides, and spending time with her people. She is a great car rider and happily rides in the backseat.<br/> <br/> Lizzie has some wonderful manners, too! She is house trained, crate trained, very dog friendly, and loves children. She doesn't jump up on people and is generally an easygoing, happy girl.<br/> <br/> On walks, Lizzie does well on leash, although her hound nose can get her very interested in something exciting! If she spots a squirrel or catches an interesting scent, she may pull, but she is redirectable.<br/> <br/> And because Lizzie is a hound, she does have a classic low hound bellow and may occasionally “talk” to you.
