Arrival story: Lizzy was sprung from an over- crowded local shelter when her big puppy smile melted our hearts.
Approximate age / Weight: 1 year/37 lbs
Personality: Meet Lizzy! She's a super sweet, fun-loving, snuggly girl! Lizzy's perfect day is chewing on a Kong, going for a walk and snuggling up after a long day. Lizzy is one smart girl and passed her basic training class with a gold star! As outgoing as this fun girl is, she can be a bit shy meeting new people and likes to get to know people at her own pace. She's already house-trained and crate-trained and ready to meet the family she will lavish with all the love and joy she has to give.
Forever home: Due to her energy level and boundless big puppy excitement, Lizzy would do best in an adult household or with older, active children. She would do best in a home without other animals. She loves chewing on bully sticks and Kongs – peanut butter is her favorite! Lizzy would do best with a patient and involved family who will continue her training and socialization. She'd love a fenced yard to zoom around in and get her sniffs on. No invisible fences please.
