Lizzy is ready for her forever home!<br/><br/>After being rescued from a house fire with 20 other dogs, Lizzy was in need of some decompression time to relax and show us her true personality. She has been in a loving foster home with other dogs where she has done extremely well. One of her buddies from the house fire who was initially in the foster home with her was recently adopted. <br/><br/>Lizzy is an eight-year-old Shih Tzu and weighs in around 13 pounds. She is spayed, vaccinated, and very healthy. Lizzy does have a deformity of her front legs called "carpal valgus" but this does not seem to bother her in the least. We do not know how or why this occurred for Lizzy, but this does not seem to interfere with her quality of life.<br/><br/>Lizzy LOVES to go for walks around the neighborhood and explore. She also loves to cuddle up next to a human. Lizzy would do well living with another dog (she's pictured here with her large foster sister and her small buddy that had come with her from the house fire)<br/><br/>Lizzy enjoys being outside and she absolutely needs a secure yard.
