MEET LIZZIE Sadly, Lizzie was running in traffic and was inches from being killed by four cars! A rescuer jumped out of her car and ran after her and found the owner. Sadly, Lizzie's owner said they got a newer bigger dog and didn't want her anymore. We can't figure out why! She is a sweetie! Lizzie is about one year old and weighs about 8lbs. Lizzie is a cuddler and loves to be with her person and is a "Stage Four" clinger! She loves toys and to play. She is great with other dogs and cats! Lizzie needs a foster or an adopter! We schedule private meet and greets with approved adopters. Please email us for an application. We are a foster based program and we all work full time and are all volunteers. We DO NOT do out-of-state adoptions due to required home/fence checks and we prefer to do proper dog introductions with other dogs to make sure it is a good fit before adopting.
