MEET LIZZIE!<br/>Sweet Lizzie came to our rescue when she went into labor at the shelter's spay clinic and the shelter reached out to us right away. She was emaciated and had pneumonia but was very sweet and a great mom. <br/><br/>Lizzie has now gained over 30 pounds and is very healthy and thriving. Lizzie's foster mom can't say enough good things about her and said if she never gets adopted she would not be unhappy. Lizzie is people friendly, small and large dog friendly and cat friendly. Although her foster does not have small kids, Lizzie has been very good meeting a neighbor's child. She is crate trained and fully housebroke.<br/><br/>Lizzie is current on all vaccines, heartworm negative and will be spayed on July 22nd. She is estimated between 2 and 3 years old. We will update with her current weight after her surgery. Lizzie is fostered in Virginia Beach. <br/><br/>***<br/>ADOPTION DETAILS: At this time, due to the size of our rescue, adoptions are limited to NORTH CAROLINA, SOUTH CAROLINA, VIRGINIA and +/-6 hours from Raleigh, NC. ADOPTION FEE: Our total adoption fee is $400, including a non-refundable $25 application fee. Fee can be paid using the "DONATE" button on our website (www.RottweilerHeartsRescue.org) - please indicate in the notes that it is for an application fee, and the intended dog.
