Lizzie's Story
Lizzie is a special sweet shy girl who loves other dogs and is looking for a home where she will feel safe and secure!

This 3 year old boxer mix spent the past several months running loose near a dangerously busy road, wandering between businesses but too scared to approach anyone. Our friends at Buddha Dog Rescue and Recovery were able to trap her and she immediately melted and clung to her rescuer for security once she knew she was safe. She's very timid and army crawls up to new people tentatively especially men, but once she bonds she turns into a happy silly goofy playful boxer. She LOVES other dogs and her tail instantly wags when she sees them, and she definitely needs a home with another compatible doggie friend to help her feel secure. She is easily spooked and may try to bolt when startled or in new situations, definitely a flight risk so making sure she's securely leashed at all times is especially important. Lizzie is 63lbs full grown, spayed, updated on shots, and ready to start a new life.

Please submit an application to meet Lizzie by appointment. Prepare to bring some yummy treats and a doggie friend to meet her so you get to see her sweet silly side. Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Age: 3yrs 3mths 2wks Animal has been Spayed
