Liza's Story
Adoption fee sponsored by: DR Horton Homes

Meet Eliza!
Eliza is a 1-year-old catahoula mix with the happiest heart you'll ever meet. While she has a rare skin condition called Epidermolysis Bullosa Acquisita that requires medication every few days and the occasional medicated bath, it doesn't slow her down one bit. She wakes up every day ready to love life, wiggle her whole body with excitement, and remind everyone that she's just a happy puppy.
Outside, Eliza loves adventures, long walks, and soaking up the sunshine with her dog friends. Inside, she's a calm, easygoing girl who even tucks herself into her crate when she's ready for bed. She's potty trained, crate trained, leash trained, and eager to learn—this smart girl picks up new things quickly!
Eliza gets along with dogs, cats, and kids, and she'd love a confident canine companion to help her continue building her confidence. She can be a little shy around loud men at first, but with patience and kindness, her sweet personality shines through.
Her perfect family will see past her skin condition and recognize the incredible dog underneath. Eliza doesn't let her diagnosis define her, and neither should you. She's looking for a fun, loving family who will embrace her for the joyful, affectionate, sunshine-loving girl she is.
If you're looking for a loyal adventure buddy with a heart of gold and the sweetest wiggle butt around, Eliza is waiting to meet you.

Prior to meeting or adopting any of our wonderful animals, we ask that you please fill out our online application: https://form.jotform.com/223268341300041

We are a 100% volunteer organization and have to work other jobs to pay the bills. Please give us up to 48 hours to respond.

Submission of an adoption application does not obligate you to adopt nor does it guarantee approval. We look forward to hearing from you.

Please note all animals in the home must be altered, up to date on vaccines, and be on heartworm prevention. We understand there are some special cases and will take those into consideration.
