Little Man's Story

Heartworm Prevention is given on the 3rd of each month

UPDATE: Little Man , known as Stan:

Stan is 11-years young with a lot of love to give and lives for the simple joys in life: a cozy couch, a good daily walk, and a person he can trust. He is housetrained, crate-trained at night, great around other dogs, and happiest when he's right by your side at home or riding in the car.

Stan does have some special quirks. He has separation anxiety and doesn't like to be left alone-he'll make his feelings known if he's scared or uncomfortable, sometimes by growling or even biting. Because of this, Stan is looking for an experienced, patient adopter who understands canine body language and can provide a calm, adult-only home with a predictable routine.

In the right environment, Stan is a deeply loyal little shadow who just wants to be loved and feel safe. If you're home most of the time and have the heart to help a senior dog feel secure, Stan might be your perfect match.

Little Man, also known as Stan the Man, has found himself back in Rescue. His adopter had picked him up as he had many times before and Little Man nipped him in the face, but since then he has not had any other incidents. We would recommend a home with NO children.

Meet Little Man! This handsome senior boy was surrendered to the shelter by his owners as they no longer wanted him. CTDR was contacted and we immediately said yes and his foster Mom went right away to get him. He has started his vetting process and as soon as he is neutered and microchipped he will be ready for his forever home. Could that be you? If so, please complete an application at www.ctdr.org.
