Little Man's Story

Meet Little Man!

They say big things come in small packages, and that definitely sums up Little Man. At about 6 lbs and 11⁄2 years old, he may be small, but he is mighty!

Little Man is a mischievous, fearless little guy. He will chew on just about anything and truly believes he’s invincible. He climbs on everything and has no problem launching himself right back off. He does well with other dogs of all sizes, though he may bark at and try to chase bigger dogs just to show off his “tough guy” attitude.

He’s a classic Chihuahua velcro pup who wants to be attached to his person 24/7 and isn’t happy when he’s not. He’s not a big fan of the crate and prefers to be close to you. Loud noises can scare him, and during storms he’ll hide under blankets, often shaking, or try to tuck himself between your feet or into your arms.

He enjoys walks but is still getting the hang of a harness and leash. He is pad trained and is working on pottying outside while on leash. He’s a smart pup and eager to please, so he’s making good progress. He also doubles as your morning alarm clock, waking you up with lots of kisses when it’s time for breakfast and a potty break!

Little Man is neutered, up to date on core vaccines, and has had a dental to remove a retained puppy tooth.

Because of his young age and long lifespan, we are looking for adopters under 65. Due to his very small size, he would do best in a home with no dogs over 20 lbs and no children under 10.

He’s small, spunky, and full of love—just waiting for the right person to make him their whole world!
