Little Foot's Story
AGE: 9 Months

SEX: Female

BREED: Bully Mix

ENERGY LEVEL: Medium

DOG FRIENDLY: Yep!

CAT FRIENDLY?: Untested

KID FRIENDLY?: Yep!

FOSTER IG: @puppytrt

Meet Little Foot! Little Foot is a calm, playful, curious, and cuddly girl who has been a wonderful addition to her foster home. She enjoys being around her people, loves pets and belly rubs, and is always happy to welcome some affection. She isn't particularly jumpy or excitable and prefers to take her time observing new situations before deciding to join in. She loves playing with tennis balls and strong rope toys, but can be quite enthusiastic with her chewing and has been known to make quick work of rubber and stuffed toys!

Little Foot is friendly with people but can be timid when meeting someone new, especially men. She took some time to warm up to the men in her foster home, although she has become much more comfortable with them and is continuing to build her confidence. She does well with children and has become friendly with her foster family's son. She has only had calm, neutral interactions with other dogs while passing them on walks and has done well. She walks nicely on leash and has no prey drive, making walks a fairly easy-going experience. She can be startled by things around her, but generally recovers well and doesn't let much bother her. She is also a fairly quiet girl, with minimal barking.

Little Foot is house trained and is working on learning her basic commands, including sit. She sleeps well in her crate, with only occasional whimpering, and will sometimes choose to nap there on her own. She does prefer knowing someone is home and is still working on being left alone, but she can settle independently when her favourite person is unavailable. Little Foot is a gentle, well-behaved girl who enjoys both relaxing and having fun. She would love a calm, patient home where she can continue building her confidence at her own pace, and in return she'll be a loyal companion ready to share her tennis balls, walks, and plenty of affection with her people.

Think you might be the right fit to provide a loving home for Little Foot?
